Hank Shaw Wins James Beard Award

by Amber on May 3, 2013

Wow! My friend Hank Shaw just won the James Beard award for his food blog, Hunter Angler Gardener Cook.

Hank Shaw web

This award is the Mac Daddy of food writing awards. If you win, it means you can put two words together and make people feel things.

I have been a Hank Shaw fan from the very beginning. He loves cats. His Master’s degree is in African History (something he and I share in common—of all random commonalities). He’s the ultimate locavore. He’s smart as a whip. He’s fun. He’s funny. He’s genuine. He’s also one of the world’s greatest cooks—and no one cooks vegetables as well as this hunter.

I’m so excited for Hank!!! Let’s give him three cheers, a triple broccoli cartwheel, and a double high five!!!!
